A lot of my work is Photography based, I have a fascination with night and darkness, and how this can be broken by both man made and natural light.

Angel 1/3

A project based around angels. The images use harsh man made light to challenge the stereotype of the ‘halo’.

The Obscure 1/6

This project explores the concept of ghosts, and where they would exist. ‘The Obscure’ being both a place and the entities living there.

Tree Lights

A symbol of knowledge is often portrayed as a tree, coupled with the light bulb an object almost representative of ideas; this tree becomes a metaphor for idea generation.

Box Lights

To represent idea generation, I choose to symbolise lights emerging from a point. The box representing a problem, and each light, one solution.

Insects 2/6

Everyday insects which are often overlooked, but once photographed and viewed much larger have a strange attraction both disgusting and intriguing.
